I read many posts that stated while TikTok official policy states that hiring is strictly based on merit and professional capability, Mandarin fluency is often an unwritten advantage or an explicit requirement for many roles, depending on the department, office location, and function. This is totally ok with me as if Mandarin is preferred be it but maybe add that into the Job Description as I’ve waiting to hear back for over 140 days and not a single thing was provided.
